Key responsibilities include:
* Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm.
* Personalised support: Offer focused, individualised assistance to a child with Cerebral Palsy, customising your approach to cater to their specific needs and encourage their growth.
We are looking for someone with:
* Childcare experience: Previous experience with Cerebral Palsy is preferred, but we also encourage applications from those with experience working with children with a variety of needs or a strong background in child support and development.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills: Ability to establish a positive bond with the child, build trust, and create a nurturing learning environment.
* Patience and empathy: A calm, supportive demeanor to help with the child's educational and emotional development.
* Flexibility and adaptability: Openness to learn and apply new teaching techniques tailored to the child's unique requirements.
* Inclusive mindset: Ability to foster an inclusive classroom environment that values each child's individual strengths and differences.
* Motivating and positive attitude: Passionate about inspiring and supporting the child's development.
* Relevant qualifications: Formal training in education, childcare, or experience with children with disabilities is a plus, though not essential.
* Commitment to child safety: Dedicated to upholding the highest standards of child welfare and safeguarding.
