Our EASA Part 145 approvals endorse a large selection of business aviation jets for Line and Base maintenance including engine and avionic works for a wide variety of aircraft types as well as components. The Detailing team is responsible for ensuring that the AirX aircraft fleet is always clean and presentable to ensure passenger satisfaction. The role of an Aircraft Detailing Operator is to work with the Detailing team to maintain the appearance of the aircraft's interior and exterior according to protocols and standards to ensure the aircraft fleet is always looking at their best. Main Duties and Responsibilities To ensure aircraft are detailed to the highest standard. To complete a full exterior wash of the aircraft airframe and brightwork polish of the chrome work. To complete all interior and exterior cleaning requirements to the finest level meeting the client’s satisfaction. To preserve and maintain the interior and exterior condition of an aircraft. To maintain a respectful manner as the successful candidate will be working with the highest level of aircraft travel. Completing the required paperwork when completing cleans. Driving company vans to the aircrafts requiring detailing services, across the UK & occasionally Europe. Supporting crew on arrival by discussing any additional detailing requests they may require. To support a flexible schedule on your 4 days on shift, plans will be provided the evening before your next day on shift & the 12 hours Start/finish time may vary to meet the demands of the aircrafts schedule. Skills and Requirements Valid UK driver’s license for onsite cleaning at various airports to cover mobile detailing and stock deliveries (using a Company vehicle – manual). Coordinate with the rest of the team to accomplish the daily workload allocated. Demonstrate careful and competent ability upon working with chemical-based cleaners. Willing to work with aviation-approved cleaning solutions to ensure that no damage is done to the aircraft exterior and interior (full training will be provided). Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and ability to work safely within an engineering/ airport hangar. Flexible with working hours covered on their 4 ON 4 OFF shift to cover the aircraft’s schedule. Thorough attention to detail. Organisation and time management skills. Ability to perform well under pressure. Previous experience in valeting and working with stock would be beneficial but not essential. To be able to provide a clear DBS check and a full 5-year job history for airside pass applications.
