The purpose of this role is to provide safe, effective and timely maintenance support services for a wide range of medical devices across a variety of sites.
• Performs a range of routine and non-routine tasks within the MEM team carrying out routine equipment and systems support and activities and non-routine support enquiries.
• Required to update electronic systems and project documentation as required to document all activities.
• Supporting senior staff for projects .
• Attending training as required to carry out functions.

The MEM department is seeking an enthusiastic member to join the technical team to provide Medical equipment support functions across the Trust located at the RD&E site working across the Acute site and Community settings.
The Dept. actively supports technical and personal development via external technical training courses and Trust training avenues, including Continuous Professional Development opportunities.
The successful candidate will possess good technical skills providing direct senior team support and be an excellent communicator, working closely with other teams within MEM. They will possess good organisational skills and be able to manage multiple workstreams and changing priorities giving feedback and updates to team senior staff. They will be working directly with clinical staff, maintaining a professional relationship whilst undertaking their tasks.

Pay: The salary advertised for this position reflects the Agenda for Change 2024-5 rates, inclusive of a 5.5% pay award implemented from October 2024. If you join before this date, the pay award will be backdated to April 2024 or your start date, whichever is later. Until then, remuneration will be based on the 2023-4 pay bandings (Pay scales for 2023/24 | NHS Employers ).
