Job Description
My client is seeking a conduct risk expert to lead their conduct and complaints departments.
Key Responsibilities:
* The role will directly oversee the complaints department and product oversight, and work closely with underwriters, delegated authority, claims and compliance teams.
* Lead and supervising the ongoing implementation of the product oversight and review process, ensuring a consistent approach that meets all regulatory requirements and drives good customer outcomes.
* Manage relationships with underwriting teams, delegated authority teams, compliance and external regulators.
* Lead the firms approach to Conduct, working collaboratively across all functions to ensure streamlined review, oversight and reporting of all matters relating to conduct.
* Chair and attend any relevant conduct related forums or committees as required
* Assist with regulatory returns, thematic reviews and conduct related queries.
Experience:
1. Strong experience in a conduct / customer focussed role ideally within the London insurance/reinsurance/ Lloyd's market
2. Thorough knowledge of the insurance regulatory landscape
3. Lloyd's market experience is advantageous
4. Experience in driving regulatory change across multiple lines of business and territories
