Job summary
Healthshare is a large independent provider of NHS Services across the UK employing over 500 clinicians nationally. We are seeking to recruit a highly motivated,enthusiastic Cardio Physiologist to complete and report echocardiograms for ourHarrow Cardiology Service.
To succeed you must be experienced and haveexcellent communication skills and a flexible, proactive approach to deliveringfirst class cardiology services and patient care.
Main duties of the job
1. Toprovide an efficient community echocardiogram service, working withinestablished policies and processes.
2. Toperform echocardiograms, maintaining the highest professional and technicalstandards, whilst promoting high professional and ethical standards of clinicalpractice to ensure that all aspects of clinical governance are fulfilled.
3. To provide echocardiogram scans topatients presenting with the following conditions or symptoms: Heart Failure, Suspectedor known Valvular Heart Disease, Congenital Heart Disease, Investigation ofNewly Diagnosed Hypertension, Arrhythmia, Syncope, PreSyncope, RecurrentPalpitations and Atrial Fibrillation

16. To independently perform and report noninvasive echocardiograms to ahigh standard, meeting BSE guidelines and departmental local standards
17. To provide an effective high quality Direct Access Cardiologydiagnostics service
18. To improve health outcomes through earlier diagnosis of commoncardiology conditions.
19. To exercisethe highest standard of patient care and actively improve the patientexperience.
20. To maintainconfidentiality at all times.
21. Escalate anyproblems, incidents and concerns to a senior member of staff.
22. To ensurethat accurate records are maintained in line with the policies and procedures.
23. Work withminimal supervision or under own withNational & Local Infection Control Polices & Procedures.
