This is a permanent, part-time post of 29.6 hours per week. The Clinical Research Facility core hours form 0800-1700 Monday to Friday predominantly the hours are 0830-1630 but there is a requirement to take a flexible approach in order to meet the needs of the service, with a requirement to work unsocial hours and weekends as necessary. The ability to travel between all sites within NHS GGC is also essential.

Glasgow Clinical Research Facility (CRF) is recruiting an Education and Training Facilitator.
We would like an experienced, enthusiastic and innovative educator to join our team. You will be responsible for providing research support, clinical advice and clinic skills within Glasgow Clinical Research Facility. Through the development and delivery of formal training sessions to multidisciplinary research staff, you will ensure that research staff have the appropriate skills to meet the needs of the service. As an integral part of the education and quality team you will work closely with team members promote a culture of continuous quality improvement, assuring participant safety and trial procedures across the CRF sites are in compliance with current legislation and organisation policies.
You should be a registered health professional with significant clinical research experience. You should hold a relevant post graduate qualification at master's Level or be working towards achieving this. You should be able to demonstrate professional and specialist knowledge of clinical research across a broad range of conditions and treatment modalities in delivering regulated clinical research projects and have previous experience of audits / regulatory inspections.
This post requires attention to detail, strong organisational and communication skills, good IT skills and a methodical approach, along with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Experience in developing, delivering and adapting presentations for multidisciplinary groups would be extremely advantageous. Minimal Requirements
1. Registered Health Care Professional, educated to degree level
2. Significant, current and relevant clinical experience
3. Experience of working in both academic and commercial research
4. Knowledge of current research regulations and governance requirements
5. Experience of developing training materials including Powerpoint presentations
6. Evidence of continuing professional development.
