You will be responsible for project programme performance, site survey access, and resource planning and coordination. Project financial reporting and contract support, subcontract administration.
Job purpose:
Project programme management to monitor and push achievement of all deliverables in a timely manner, including financial reporting. Work closely with Project Managers, GIS Specialists, Engineers, and Town Planners to keep projects on track and manage conflicting priorities. Support the development of project and construction programmes. Carry out project commercial reporting and support in managing the contract and subcontracts.
The work will be office based with travel for meetings, workshops, and site visits (as required).
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
1. Project Programmer / QS (core)
1. Support the PM in driving project delivery on time and on budget by developing and managing project resource and programme plans.
2. Understand the client’s brief and deliverable requirements. Liaise where necessary with clients to ensure satisfactory progress and quality.
3. Support the development of project programmes, costs, and reports.
4. Co-ordinate and liaise with all other departments, disciplines, external agencies, and authorities in supporting project programme, reporting and cost tasks.
5. Contribute to project reviews.
6. Submit monthly progress/Coretime reports to the Line Manager.
7. Monitoring project hours and costs against budgets.
8. Look after the client’s needs.
9. Monitor the contract and variations.
10. Monitor subcontracts and assure variations and applications as required.
11. Support the application and invoicing process.
12. Support/coordinate site visit and survey strategies.
2. People Management/Staff Development
1. Report closely to your line manager.
2. Contribute to team meetings.
3. Administer and participate in monthly one-to-ones.
4. Participate in annual staff appraisal.
5. No line reporting.
3. Quality Systems and Health & Safety
1. Support internal business reporting on key project performance metrics.
2. Comply with all company Quality, Environmental and Safety Documentation.
3. Comply with all company procedures and health and safety legislation.
4. Contribute within the Company to our Health and Safety culture.

1. Additionally, you may also have to work on other works related to other LSTC departments.
2. Carry out reasonable duties as directed by the Directors.
3. Willing to work at other LSTC or Client Offices as required.
4. Deliver exceptional customer service to all customers.
5. Build an outstanding working relationship with LSTC teams and Clients.
6. Core activities take place in an office environment.
7. You will be provided with all PPE necessary for you to undertake your work safely.
8. You will be required to attend any site briefings or Principal Contractor site inductions prior to entering a site environment and carry out site specific risk assessments to ensure your wellbeing and the safety of yourself and others.
Qualifications and Experience:

1. Suitable degree (STEM is a plus) or industry experience.
2. Experience

2. A plus: NEC contract knowledge.
3. A plus: MS Project or Primavera P6 experience.
4. A plus: Development Consent Order (or similar) or linear infrastructure planning experience.
5. A plus: OHL, cable, or substation experience.
