Breakfast Playworker Hours: Breakfast Club – Monday to Friday 7:45am – 9.00am cover Expected start date: Asap The Federated Governing Body of Church Hill and Low Hall Nursery School (Forest Alliance of Nursery Schools) are seeking to appoint a Breakfast Play Worker. We are looking for supportive, and enthusiastic individuals who are able to display initiative to join our team. Ideally, you should have previous experience of working with children and young people and good inter-personal skills. Have a basic awareness of Safeguarding and Health & Safety legislation and have the ability to work well as a member of a team and independently. The Playworker role includes: supervising the children, ensuring their safety at all times, engaging with them in aspects of play and conversation and therefore you would have the ability to adapt to the childs’ needs. Setting up activities for children aged 3-8 years old to optionally take part in. Meet and greet parents and provide them with feedback when required on their child’s time at the club, whilst at all times maintaining confidentiality. The successful candidate will desirably have a relevant childcare qualification. You will be welcomed into a friendly, supportive team who work closely together.
