We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Deputy Nursery Manager to oversee the daily operations of our nursery. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in childcare and early childhood education, with the ability to lead and inspire a team of educators. Duties
* Manage the daily operations of the nursery, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
* Lead and support a team of childcare professionals, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
* Develop and implement age-appropriate educational programmes that promote the physical, emotional, and social development of children.
* Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their children's progress and any concerns that may arise.
* Maintain accurate records of children's development, attendance, and incidents as required by regulatory bodies.
* Ensure the nursery is a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for children, staff, and visitors.
* Conduct regular staff training sessions to enhance skills in early childhood education and childcare practices.
Requirements
* Proven experience in childcare or early childhood education settings.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively.
* Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
* A deep understanding of child development principles and best practices in nursery management.
* Ability to drive initiatives that enhance the quality of care provided to children.
* Relevant qualifications in early childhood education or childcare are desirable but not essential.
* A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their growth.
