We’re partnering with our client to recruit a Group Health & Safety Manager to oversee the group's manufacturing facilities throughout the Greater Manchester area, ensuring compliance with H&S procedures.

About You:
1. You’ll be an experienced Health & Safety Manager with experience gained from the manufacturing or engineering industry.
2. You’ll enjoy a busy and varied role, as you’d expect with a role with multiple sites.
3. You’ll work effectively as a team to ensure compliance throughout and work equally as well in an autonomous role.
4. IOSH general certificate
About The Job:
1. Manage all Health and Safety related issues within the group.
2. Maintain training records and ensure the team are fully aware of policies and procedures, ensuring correct PPE and suitable equipment for the areas of work.
3. Control and manage departmental budget spend.
4. Chair monthly health and safety meetings and manage actions on the findings raised.
5. Arrange and log fire drills and manage corrective action.
6. Identify and deliver training in health and safety related issues (e.g., first aiders, fire marshals, etc.) ensuring that individual employee training certification remains valid.
7. Complete COSHH assessments.
