A highly regarded school in Essex is seeking a passionate and dedicated ECT Science Teacher to join their well-resourced and supportive Science department from ASAP. This is an exciting opportunity for an Early Career Teacher (ECT) who is looking to develop their skills in a nurturing and high-achieving environment.
The successful ECT Science Teacher will have the opportunity to teach Science across KS3 and KS4, with the possibility of specialising in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics at KS5. The Science department is known for its collaborative approach, innovative teaching methods, and excellent student outcomes. A dedicated mentor will support the successful candidate throughout their ECT induction.
Key Responsibilities
* Teach Science at KS3 and KS4, with the opportunity to specialise in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics at KS5
* Plan and deliver engaging, practical, and interactive Science lessons
* Use a variety of teaching strategies to inspire a love for Science among students
* Assess student progress in Science and provide targeted feedback
* Work closely with experienced Science teachers and department leads to develop best practices
* Participate in CPD programs and Science-related extracurricular activities
