As a Receptionist, you’ll play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere at SFC for our fans and visitors. You’ll be the face of the organisation, managing front desk operations and providing exceptional customer service to all visitors. What will you be doing? The role will involve greeting and assisting visitors, including fans and staff, ensuring they feel welcome and valued as soon as they step foot into St. Mary’s. Manage the club’s main telephone line, directing calls and handling general enquiries over the phone and in-person. Coordinate visitor sign-ins and ensuring security protocols are followed. The role will involve assisting with administrative tasks such as handling emails, scheduling appointments, and maintaining records. Support on matchdays and events will be highly beneficial, this will include evenings and weekends. What are we looking for? Previous experience in a customer service or receptionist role is desirable. A friendly and approachable manner with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends as required. A passion for football or a willingness to immerse yourself in the club’s culture. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office and other basic IT systems.
