Job Summary:
The post covers two services for people experiencing homelessness – Fishermead Centre a 20 bedded Supported housing unit for people experiencing Homelessness and Springfield House, supported accommodation young parents and their children
Key Responsibilities: This role is vital to the success of the projects providing leadership and inspiration to the staff and encouraging an enabling environment, leading in psychologically informed practice within the values of The Salvation Army. The role requires liaison with the Local Authority Commissioners; as well as other agencies.
The successful candidate(s) will be able to demonstrate:
1. NVQ4 or equivalent in a related field;
2. Proven experience of managing teams;
3. Excellent communication skills;
4. Knowledge of health and safety;
5. Understanding of funding in supported housing;
6. Ability to build positive partnerships.
