Our projects span a wide range of properties, from primary schools to office complexes. We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead large-scale, high-impact Building Management Systems (BMS) projects. The ideal candidate will have a background in construction project management, with a proven track record of managing complex projects to contractual specifications. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and with a focus on maintaining profitability. This role requires an individual who can confidently manage project finances, timelines, and stakeholder expectations while coordinating with cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities: Project Planning & Execution: Oversee the full project lifecycle from initiation to handover, ensuring all aspects of the BMS project meet contractual, technical, and quality specifications. Contract Management: Manage and interpret contractual documents to ensure compliance with client agreements, scope, and deliverables. Address contract amendments and changes in scope with clear communication and documentation. Budget Control: Develop, monitor, and control project budgets to ensure financial targets are met, implementing cost-saving measures where appropriate to maintain project profitability. Timeline Management: Plan, schedule, and coordinate project tasks to meet key milestones, ensuring projects stay on track and addressing delays or risks proactively. Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with clients, contractors, vendors, and internal teams, managing expectations, resolving conflicts, and ensuring clear communication throughout the project lifecycle. Team Coordination: Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and subcontractors, ensuring resources are allocated effectively and project requirements are fully understood by all team members. Quality Assurance: Ensure that all work meets company and industry quality standards, coordinating regular site inspections and progress reviews. Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations on-site, promoting a safe work environment for all team members and subcontractors. Reporting: Provide regular progress reports to senior management, including project status, budget tracking, and any identified risks or opportunities. Requirements Experience in construction project management, with a focus on large-scale projects. Prior experience with BMS projects or M&E systems. Strong understanding of contract management and compliance. Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and budgeting tools. Familiarity with BMS or HVAC systems and their integration into construction projects is advantageous. Project Management Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certifications are a plus. Excellent budget management and financial forecasting skills. Strong negotiation, conflict resolution, and communication skills. Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure. Working Conditions: Combination of office-based work and on-site project visits. Regular travel to project sites may be required.
