Your Role
We are looking for a Student Building Surveyor to join our Design and Technical Service, which is part of the Estate and Asset Management Team.
We have a large visionary programme of capital developments across the borough covering our Education, Leisure, Corporate and Commercial portfolio.
This is a unique role, in that it will provide you with the opportunity to work across a wide range of projects at all RIBA stages, combining feasibility work with project, design and cost management. You will join the team to support our senior building surveyor and project manager as well as engineers, quantity surveyors and architects, and will gain a huge amount of experience working in a multi-disciplinary environment and a vast array of projects.
About You
To excel in this role, you will be ambitious with strong communication skills. You will support stakeholders through the Council by providing advice on design and construction matters, working as a critical friend to external design teams to drive the best in projects
