Main Duties of the Job
We are looking for a qualified Non-medical Prescriber to join the team across the Childrens ADHD intervention pathway primarily, with clinical input into the assessment pathway. This post is open to applicants who are either experienced or looking to expand their prescribing experience within the field of ADHD.
As a qualified NMP, you will support in the diagnostic formulation process and intervention plans for children, offering medication initiation, titration, and review. This is a complex and in-demand service, so applicants must be forward-thinking, reflective, autonomous individuals who are excellent team members.

Person Specification
Education and Qualifications
* First Level Nursing Qualification and Registration
* Degree or equivalent qualification or experience in evidence-based psychological therapies relevant to the pathway.
* ENB 998/P126/127
* Student Nurse Assessor
* Safeguarding Children and Adults Training
* If applicable to service, Non-Medical Prescriber
* If applicable, attained 'Specialist' level of competency as defined in 'Closing the gap' (CSIP 2006)
* Further qualification in CYPS/ADHD/relevant field
Knowledge and Experience
* Experience of working within a multi-disciplinary team
* Commitment to partnership working both multi-agency and multi-disciplinary
* Coordinating and supporting staff in the day-to-day provision of clinical services
* Knowledge and understanding of equal opportunities legislation and policies
* Experience of collaborative working across agencies and professional disciplines
* Proven ability to manage a clinical caseload in a flexible manner as required
* Specific experience within ADHD, experience within relevant CYPS services

* Excellent interpersonal skills including negotiation and conflict management
* Evidence of effective organisational skills
* Evidence of leadership skills
* Expert clinical supervision skills
* Evidence of maintaining accurate and contemporaneous record keeping
