We are looking for an experienced candidate with a background of working in HR. The role is office based and will be based at one of our homes in Dartford, Kent.

Role Purpose:
* To provide high quality administration support to the HR Manager and the wider team.
* To focus on the onboarding of new employees, ensuring an exceptional candidate experience is provided for all new starters to the home.
* Ensuring accurate record keeping of all employee information.
Main Responsibilities (this list is not exhaustive):
* Be the first line of contact for employees and manager queries. Act quickly and accurately to them and if necessary direct them appropriately to the HR Manager.
* To support the HR Manager with administrative duties.
* To manage and monitor all recruitment and selection in the company. Discuss with the recruiting manager their requirements, placing the advert on Indeed, printing off CVs and arranging interviews.
* Arrange start date according to the timeline of checks which need to be carried out before commencing employment.
* Ensure that all recruitment checks are completed: DBS, employee references and right to work checks. Ensure to highlight anything which needs to be reported back to the home manager.
* Ensure that payroll is given accurate details of employees onboarding and offboarding for the home to ensure accuracy of wages.
* Liaise with the Training Manager to arrange induction training for the new employees' first 3 days.
* To accurately record sickness on the time and attendance system.
* Taking ownership of the HR Employee files to ensure all recruitment details are correct and are to CQC standard.
* Attend HR and ad-hoc meetings to take minutes and produce them in a timely manner.
* To produce standard letters for recruitment and selection, contracts and other letters and documents as directed.
* Deal with Subject Access Requests for the home, from both staff and residents' families.
* Ensure that GDPR is being followed by the home and office spaces.
* Support the HR Manager on projects when required.
* Assist in covering the general administrators with sickness and annual leave.
Skills and Knowledge
* Excellent attention to detail
* Good communication skills
* Previous experience as a HR Admin or other office position
* Level 3 CIPD
