About The Role HR Advisor At Salutem, we know that we work better when we work together. We believe that our Salutem support teams across all departments, contributes to making the exemplary care we provide for the people we support, possible. We have a rewarding opportunity for an empathetic Human Resource advisor to join our people team. In this role you will have the chance to make a difference in the lives of the people we support across our services in the South, by providing consistent advice regarding policies, procedures, and progressing activities as appropriate. We also have an opportunity for an HR Adviser to cover services in the North – this post will be based in Darlington. The role:
Deliver consistent advice on operations, how to resolve situations, and escalating more complex issues to the Human Resource Business Partners.
Comply with employment legislation, company policies and procedures in a friendly and efficient manner.
Review policies, procedures and guidelines, regularly suggesting improvements informed by HR questions.
Develop response templates to frequently asked questions.
Cultivate effective relationships with staff of all levels.
Monitor sickness absence across the region and handle cases in line with policy and procedures.
Escalate issues that fail to comply with policies and procedures with HRBP.
Keep up-to-date with cases and set actions for service managers.
Produce HR Reports for HRBP’s when requested.
Attend meetings as and when required.
Support service managers when required with I-Trent and work collaboratively with the i-Trent Manager to resolve issues.
Undertake projects as directed by the Group People Director to support the wider People team.
Provide cover for absences of your counterpart in the North Region What we're looking for:
1-3 years’ experience in a HR advisory role
Great communications skills
Great written and verbal skills
PC literate
Self-motivation, a self-starter and enthusiastic
Bright, friendly and approachable
