The Adult MSK Physiotherapy team are an innovative team who pride themselves on development of staff through their MSK career with a robust supervision and training package, whilst also ensuring a healthy work-life balance with a focus on well-being.
We accept referrals from both GPs and hospital consultants, enabling you to maintain a varied clinical caseload and use your own initiative to meet the different needs of patients.
Main duties of the job
* To deliver a wide variety of clinical work within the Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy Service, working with patients who have a variety of needs.
* Assess and treat own caseload of patients and maintain own records as an autonomous practitioner.
* To undertake a significant clinical caseload to a high professional standard.

Person Specification
Qualifications & Registration
* BSc/MSc in Physiotherapy
* Evidence of relevant postgraduate training
* Evidence of CPD Portfolio
* HCPC registration
* Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy
Experience, Knowledge & Skills
* Broad range of experience at undergraduate or postgraduate level including managing respiratory, neurological and musculoskeletal conditions.
* Knowledge of anatomy and physiology to support relevant clinical skills and effective clinical reasoning.
* Experience of working within a team and independently with support.
* Experience of liaison with other professionals and partnership working.
* Evidence and understanding of CPD.
* Demonstrates an awareness & understanding of supporting equality and valuing diversity within the role.
* Uses examples to demonstrate a clear knowledge and understanding of the NHS.
* Knowledge of areas of clinical governance including quality, audit and risk management.
* Ability to work autonomously within code of practice with peer support.
* Demonstrates good written communication skills.
* Shows good IT skills with understanding of computers and their applications.
* Ability to work within a stressful and unpredictable environment.
* Ability to travel to different geographical locations across the Trust footprint in line with service needs.
* Undergraduate experience gained in both a hospital and a community NHS setting.
