What you'll do
The role holder will act as an International Tax Manager within the Transfer Pricing and Tax Controversy team, an integral part of the Vodafone global tax team. The International Tax Manager role has responsibility, as part of a team, to lead, assist, and advise on a range of International Tax projects and operational activities. This includes business partnering on international tax matters related to Vodafone's Partner Markets business, providing support for transfer pricing projects, ensuring cross-border tax compliance processes are maintained, and analysing tax data to make recommendations on tax opportunities.
* Act as a business partner in relation to the Partner Market business including international tax research and tax treaty analysis.
* Manage the Local File compliance process from beginning to end and assist with the update of the Master File.
* Support transfer pricing work, including attending and writing up functional analysis interviews.
* Provide support and assistance in the defence of tax audits and other contentious tax disputes as well as becoming the expert on the technical and factual details of a given tax dispute.
* Knowledge sharing through co-ordination and dissemination of best practice in planning and preparation for potential tax disputes.
Who you are
* Minimum 4 years tax experience.
* ACA/ACCA or CTA qualified, or equivalent.
* Tax advisor with 1-4 years PQE either with an advisory firm or large in-house company.
* Experience of international tax and transfer pricing issues.
* Exposure to tax dispute management.
