Theo James are seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to join a dynamic and fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards, conducting internal audits, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. You will play a key role in identifying root causes, implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet product and process quality standards.

Hours of work: Mon-Thur 08:30-1700 & Fri 08:30-1400
Responsibilities:
* Analyze quality data to uncover root causes, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective and preventive actions effectively.
* Monitor and evaluate quality performance using SPC and Cpk analysis, ensuring that key performance indicators (KPIs) are consistently achieved.
* Lead or participate in problem-solving activities such as 8D and Six Sigma, driving continuous improvement across plant operations.
* Conduct process audits and support LPA, 5S, and system audits to ensure compliance.
* Assist in the creation and submission of critical documentation such as PPAP, Process Flow, Control Plans, PFMEA, MSA, and Capability Studies.
* Champion quality initiatives and lean improvement projects to reduce waste and enhance plant performance.
* Validate process changes and ensure that all related documentation is current and accurate.
* Collaborate with site management to support quality objectives, reporting requirements, and the development of both department and individual goals.
* Maintain and improve the Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring alignment with industry standards and customer-specific requirements.
* Provide regular feedback and insights through daily, weekly, and monthly reviews to foster transparency and continuous progress.
Skills and Experience:
* Experience in the automotive sector.
* Familiarity with quality control systems and tools such as PFMEA, Control Plans, and working-level documents.
* Proficient in PC tools, including Microsoft Office and reporting software.
* Six Sigma certification or training in other quality problem-solving methodologies.
* Quality management systems (QMS) and auditing experience, particularly with IATF 16949 and core tools such as APQP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, and PPAP.
