We are seeking an organised and proactive Assistant Accountant to join a finance team based in Burntwood. If you're hardworking, detail-driven, and ready to grow with a leading international company, we'd love to hear from you Key Responsibilities: Posting and reconciling bank transactions Credit control, aged debtor reviews, and payment allocations Processing purchase invoices and updating Sage records Managing supplier payments and creditor reports Month-end tasks including reconciliations, journals, accruals, and petty cash Preparing nominal ledger reports and VAT records Responding to finance queries and ad hoc finance duties What We’re Looking For: AAT L4 qualified or part-qualified, or 3 years of accounting experience Proficiency in Sage accounting software Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills Experience of dealing with oversees customers would be an advantage This is an office based role working Monday to Thursday 9am - 5.00pm and Friday 9.00am - 3.00pm.
