About The Role
Join our team as a Mobile Plant Operator and play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and safe operation of our aggregates production site. In this dynamic role, you’ll be responsible for operating and maintaining mobile and fixed plant equipment, managing stockpiles, loading materials, and supporting ship discharge and train loading. With a focus on health and safety, customer service, and operational efficiency, you’ll contribute to maintaining high standards while meeting production targets. About Your Role
Operate mobile and fixed plant equipment safely and efficiently.
Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and checks on plant and equipment.
Manage stockpiles and oversee the loading of hoppers, lorries, trains, and ship discharge.
Maintain a clean and organized site through regular housekeeping activities.
Cover weighbridge operations as required to ensure smooth site functionality.
Uphold health and safety procedures, reporting any incidents, near-misses, or hazards.
Assist with shutdown maintenance tasks, such as greasing and plant checks.
Act as a key point of contact for customers, ensuring efficient and professional service.
Meet production targets while adhering to operational and safety standards.
Support compliance with company procedures and legislation through training and vigilance.
We're Looking For
Actively under pressure in a team environment.
Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and solutions-oriented mindset.
Professional personal presentation, communication skills, and customer-focused approach.
Awareness of Health and Safety legislation, with a commitment to compliance and safety procedures.
Previous experience in aggregates production and knowledge of Health and Safety regulations (desirable).
Flexibility to work at other local sites and enthusiasm for learning and adapting to new challenges.
