Job Title: Distribution Sales Manager
Location: UK (Field-Based with Travel)
Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 + Bonus + Car Allowance
About the Role:
We are excited to be recruiting for a Distribution Sales Manager on behalf of a growing organisation in the industrial, technical and distribution sales sector. This role is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially driven sales leader to take ownership of the company distribution strategy, driving business growth and developing key partnerships with distributors and channel partners.
As Distribution Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing and expanding the company’s network of distributors. The role requires a strong background in distribution sales, working closely with channel partners to increase market penetration, drive revenue growth, and ensure long-term success. You will also play a key role in developing strategic sales plans, working collaboratively with senior leadership to align with overall business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute a UK-wide distribution sales strategy, ensuring strong market coverage and revenue growth.
* Manage and strengthen relationships with distributors and channel partners, ensuring long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships.
* Identify new distribution opportunities and onboard high-potential partners.
* Drive sales performance across the distributor network, providing support and training where needed.
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth supply chain operations, pricing strategies, and marketing support for distribution partners.
* Work closely with senior leadership to influence and execute commercial objectives.
* Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments, making strategic recommendations to maintain a competitive edge.
* Oversee forecasting, pipeline management, and sales reporting, ensuring accurate and data-driven decision-making.
Candidate Profile:
* Proven experience in a Distribution Sales Manager, Channel Sales Manager, or similar role within industrial, technical, or B2B sales sectors.
* Strong track record in distribution sales, with experience managing channel partners and indirect sales models.
* Excellent relationship management and negotiation skills, with the ability to develop and strengthen long-term partnerships.
* Strategic thinker with a commercial mindset, able to drive growth and execute sales plans effectively.
* Strong business development and account management experience, successfully driving revenue growth through distributors.
* Proficiency in sales forecasting, pipeline management, and reporting.
* A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensively across the UK.
