Job summary Bradford District Care Foundation Trust (BDCFT) is looking to appoint an experienced and motivated Emergency Preparedness, Resilience and Response (EPRR) Officer. The EPRR Officer will work on specific projects to help BDCFT fulfil its responsibilities under the Civil Contingencies Act 2004 and meet its obligations as described within the NHS England Core Standards for EPRR. The EPRR Officer will promote continuous improvement in the Trust's EPRR arrangements and will undertake joint working with colleagues in partner organisations to enhance plans and processes for emergency preparedness. Supporting the BDCFT Accountable Emergency Officer (AEO) and reporting to the EPRR Manager, the EPRR Officer will contribute to the full cycle of emergency preparedness, from risk management and planning to training and exercising. The EPRR Officer will also have a role in the delivery of EPRR assurance processes and will support processes that aim to identify learning from incidents and exercises.
