Working Days & Times: 37.5 hours per week, 7am to 10pm as required. Core Working Hours 8.30am - 5pm.

Role Information: Our Vocational Skills Coaches (VSCs) inspire and coach learners in their industry field. They work closely with employers to support learners through both theory and practical-based work via monthly progress review meetings. A blended approach to delivery includes both online and face-to-face support.
Key Duties:
* Plan and deliver a training programme that ensures a robust Individual Learning Plan (ILP) and regular review of learner progress.
* Ensure all learner records and reporting are kept up to date for management reporting and audit requirements.
* Facilitate the teaching of functional skills qualifications required by apprentices as part of your caseload.
* Provide robust exit advice to learners as they set personal goals for career progression.
* Facilitate learning and adhere to the standards of the apprenticeship programme.
* Deliver balanced KPIs in line with company expectations.
* Maintain operational consistency and ensure learner progress.
* Ensure all learners receive the highest quality experience.
* Maintain and enhance relationships with business support teams.
* Participate in quality assurance activities.
* Drive self-generation across the area.
* Ensure CPD is planned and reflects Company and stakeholder requirements.
* Contribute to ad hoc cross-sector/function projects.
* Demonstrate the organisation’s values and behaviours.
* Promote equal opportunities and recognition of diversity.
* Comply with Safeguarding, Prevent, and Health and Safety Policies.
* Provide learners, customers, and colleagues with support and guidance.
Key Performance Indicators:
* Maintain a caseload level of up to 42 learners.
* Retention and achievement rates.
* Less than 5% pass planned end date learners.
* Regular contact with learners and employers.
Experience:
* Vocational experience in the area of application (Essential).
* Proven track record of meeting targets (Essential).
Knowledge & Skills:
* Good level of IT skills (Essential).
* Excellent communication and coaching skills (Essential).
* Enthusiastic to support learners (Essential).
* Passionate about transforming lives through learning (Essential).
* Self-reliant and able to manage own workload (Essential).
* Good organisational and planning skills (Essential).
* Ability to work effectively as a member of a team (Essential).
Qualifications:
* Sector qualification in the area of delivery (Essential).
* Maths & English at Level 2 or above (Essential).
* Teaching Qualification at Level 3 (Desirable).
* Assessors Qualification at Level 3 (Desirable).
