An exciting position has become available for an Alarm Monitoring Supervisor based in Paddington, London for one of our corporate clients. You will be directly responsible for the supervision, mentoring and development of the officers deployed on their shift team at the customers Paddington location. In addition, providing first line support and advice to the other UK based sites out of hours, ensuring compliance with all aspects of the security service delivered by the teams. Operating within a team and based out of a technologically advanced control room, you will need to accurately and efficiently monitor and operate a variety of integrated PC based security systems, making excellent computer skills, an essential part of this role. Health and Wellbeing: Life assurance scheme, access to mental health support specialists Access to an Online GP Service: for you and your dependents A typical day in the life as an Alarm Monitoring Supervisor: Maintain day to day operational supervision of the shift team and security operation; Access control of the premises, security element of the reception desk function, car park management, mail screening, patrolling requirements, control room operation including alarm monitoring and emergency response functions for both the site and regional offices Assist the contract management in undertaking effective investigations and production of reports relating to the services provided or systems monitored as and when requested. Delivery of all induction and ongoing training to the security officers deployed on site. Ensure the teams compliance with all company and customer processes, procedures and protocols. Where able drawing on your experience, judgment and initiative or where required seeking management advice to give effective guidance and direction to the security officers under your control. What are we looking for? SIA Licence (Preferred Door Supervisor) Ability to promote and deliver excellent customer service. Ability to think and act quickly in emergencies or under pressure Experience of operating as part of a global team based out of a technologically advanced control room with the ability to accurately and efficiently monitor and operate a variety of integrated PC based security & CCTV systems. IT literate in the use of all Microsoft office tools. Experience with using and managing the use of ACS equipment.
