To use IT systems to book appointments, prioritise podiatry care, answer queries, monitor waiting lists and provide feedback to the team lead. IT skills will be tested at interview, as this is an integral part of the role. To communicate effectively with patients, often with communication difficulties via telephone, face to face, or e mail. To communicate effectively with the podiatry team, other health professionals and General practitioners via telephone, face to face or e mail. To provide support to the Team Lead in maintaining effective administration support across the locality. To support the team, ensuring patients are booked according to podiatric need, and being aware of the high-risk nature of the caseload, and the potential consequences of ineffective administration processes To use patient information with integrity, respecting confidential information.
