Job Description
The purpose of this post is to provide Technical/AV support services to all departments, members of staff, pupils and other stakeholders in the school.
Responsibilities
1. Specialised Technical and AV Tasks
2. Health and Safety
3. Provision and organisation of materials and equipment
4. Responsible for relevant in-service training / CPD
5. Financial responsibility including inventory tasks
The Individual
6. Expertise in the areas of Technical/AV
7. Qualified to HNC level in a Technical subject; Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent as demonstrated by experience in any of this field
8. Evidence of continuous professional development
9. Proven time management skills
10. Working knowledge of software applications including word, excel and general internet access
11. Flexible approach to work and willingness to learn
12. Self confidence
13. Self motivated
14. A commitment to ensure that appropriate health and safety standards are met
15. Evidence of an ability to prioritise work tasks for self
16. Ability to accurately record information
17. Excellent communication skills both oral and written
18. An ability to communicate technical issues to all within the school environment
19. Willingness to accept direction/delegation
20. Ability to lift and carry computer hardware in conjunction with moving and handling regulations

Starting Salary: £30,.05 (pro-rata)
