Right at Home Preston is a friendly, local homecare provider which recognises that its employees are its greatest asset. We are looking for friendly, reliable, and ambitious Care Assistants to join our team to work evenings 16:00 - 22:30 and and also weekends full days.
You probably already have the skills you need to make a great Care Assistant, but we will teach you everything you need to know with our industry leading training.
Please note: Only Female Applicants can be considered due to the nature of the contracts we have currently. As this role involves giving care to patients in their own home you must have a driving license and have access to a vehicle.

Duties will include:
Ensure the highest possible levels of care provision are maintained at all times.
To undertake all duties in accordance with the policies and procedures of Right at Home at all times.
Duties will include aspects of personal care to allow Clients to maintain their personal hygiene, appearance and physical comfort.
Assisting in the preparation and making of meals, drinks and snacks.
To provide assistance with other tasks of daily living which may include cleaning and maintaining the cleanliness of their environment, shopping, laundry and bill paying.
To assist Clients to take medication as identified in their care plan.
To work as part of a team with colleagues
To provide social support, talking and listening to the Client, helping them to maintain contact with friends and family and other contacts in potentially isolating situations.
To contribute to the safe moving and handling of Clients to maximise their physical abilities and mobility.
Act on own initiative and exercise good decision making skills.
Requirements of a Care Assistant:
Be available for evenings and weekends shifts
Must hold a full and valid UK or EU/EEA driving licence and have access to your own vehicle as you will be travelling to clients to care for them in their own home.
Currently be living in the UK (we do not accept applications from abroad at this time)
Have a genuine passion to want to help others
Be a reliable team player with a positive attitude
Right at Home Preston covers clients in the following areas: Penwortham, Longton, Walmer Brdige, Much Hoole, Tarleton, Croston, Leyland, Bamber Bridge, Fullwood, Barton, Broughton, Ingol and surrounding areas.
If you have experience as a Care Assistant, Support Worker, Carer, HCA, Health Care Assistant or in the NHS we would love to hear from you. However, if you do not have experience, we provide full training and encourage candidates from all sectors to apply, for example: retail sales assistant, customer service, hairdressers/beauticians, receptionist, administrator, cleaners, warehouse workers and delivery drivers.
