Join our client's dynamic team as a Backend Software Developer ! A Taunton-based company require an enthusiastic and committed Backend Software Developer to enhance our vibrant team. The perfect candidate will possess extensive experience in backend development, particularly with the latest versions of C# .NET Core.
This role offers Hybrid working, 3 days a week in the Taunton office. Mainly operating Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM, and may require some support outside of these hours.
Main responsibilities for the Backend Software Developer:
* Develop, test, and deploy scalable and maintainable backend applications using C# and .NET Core
* Write clean and efficient code, participate in code reviews, and optimize application performance
* Stay updated with industry trends and technologies, mentoring junior developers
* Manage deployment and operations within Azure infrastructure
Requirements of the Backend Software Developer:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
* 3-5 years of experience in backend development with proficiency in C# and .NET Core
* Strong understanding of RESTful API design, CI/CD pipelines, and Git version control
* Excellent problem-solving skills, ability to work independently and collaboratively
