Key Responsibilities: As a supply teacher, your role will include: Delivering pre-prepared lessons across a variety of subjects and year groups, ensuring students remain engaged and on task. Maintaining a positive and productive learning environment in the absence of the regular class teacher. Adhering to school policies, including behaviour management strategies, to support students in achieving their learning goals. Providing feedback on the lesson and student progress to school staff as required. Adapting quickly to different classroom environments and building rapport with students and staff. Upholding the high standards of professionalism and enthusiasm expected by Teaching Personnel and our partner schools. What We’re Looking For: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential. Experience teaching in secondary schools is desirable but not required – Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are encouraged to apply. Strong classroom management skills and the ability to adapt to diverse settings. A proactive, positive, and enthusiastic approach to teaching. Flexibility and reliability to support schools on short notice. A valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) certificate registered on the Update Service or a willingness to apply for one.
