Salford Educational Psychology Service (EPS) is excited to announce that we are looking for a talented and experienced Educational Psychologist to enhance our innovative and supportive team. We require a passionate leader and manager with expertise in the area of whole school approaches to wellbeing. This is an exciting and important role that will make a difference at strategic level for all children and young people. It will include promoting and improving our Emotionally Friendly Settings (EFS) package and in conjunction with other senior members of the team, embed relational approaches to inclusion at all levels. You will lead a group of EPs, Trainees and Assistants on the delivery of EFS and work with a multiagency team strategically across services to achieve our ambitions. Salford is aiming to become a Child Friendly and Trauma Responsive City. The EPS is well established partner within the Salford s multiagency Mental Health Support Team. We are a values-driven service and this is evident in day-to-day interactions as well as the bigger decisions made about the service. The team is highly valued in the Local Authority and well regarded by local schools, families and commissioners. We have fantastic relationships with our schools; over 90% of whom buy traded packages for in depth casework and development work. All team members take responsibility for the day to day running of the service and opportunities for professional growth and development are supported at all levels. There is a good balance of statutory and non-statutory work.
