About the role
Your responsibilities will include transferring and packaging products accurately, adhering to the highest standards of quality and safety while working efficiently to meet production targets. Working shift pattern is a rotation of early, late's & night shift* of a weekly basis.
*Night working allowance payable
Responsibilities
* Assist in the decanting of raw materials and finished products according to specifications.
* Follow all company Health & Safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
* Adhere to strict hygiene and sanitation standards, following cleaning schedules and implementing the factory’s "clean as you go" policy.
* Monitor quality during the decanting process to ensure compliance with standards.
* Accurately complete all relevant process and food safety documentation.
* Follow all safety protocols and procedures to create a safe working environment.
* Report any discrepancies or issues to the supervisor promptly.
* Collaborate with team members to achieve daily production goals.
* Participate in training and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
* Ability to move stock using onsite vehicles
* Provide support in other departments when required, including during holiday and absence cover.
Requirements
* Experience in a production or manufacturing environment is preferred, but not essential.
* Forklift certificates preferred, but not essential.
* Ability to follow instructions diligently and adhere to safety practices.
* Strong attention to detail with a focus on product quality.
* Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
* Physical stamina and capability to lift and move heavy products as necessary.
* Willingness to work flexible hours, including shifts as required.
