Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic HCPC Registered Practitioner Psychologist with Neuropsychology expertise to provide clinical services to people on the ward and their families/carers at the specialist Neuro Rehabilitation Unit (NRU) based at Neath Port Talbot Hospital. The post holder will use their neuropsychological assessment, formulation, and neuro rehab skills while working collaboratively with multidisciplinary staff on the unit and Community Teams across the Swansea Bay and Hywel Dda regions. The NRU provides rehabilitation to people post traumatic and acquired brain injury.
Main Duties of the Job
The role will involve direct clinical work with people on the unit and their families. There will also be opportunities for indirect work including consultation, MDT discussions and formulation, training, and staff interventions including reflective practice groups. The post holder will have the opportunity to demonstrate outcomes and contribute to the wider HB rehabilitation framework initiative led by therapies and health sciences.
