An award-winning Top Tier Contractor who, due to impressive bid success and an increased secure workload, is now seeking a Senior Mechanical Contracts Manager to join their highly successful team. With continuous growth in recent years and an enviable client base throughout the UK&I operating across various sectors including Health, Education, Industrial, Leisure andmercial projects.
Your new role
The successful candidate will have responsibility for the management of large-scale mechanical installation contracts, offering troubleshooting solutions where needed and making sure all design, programming, technical and financial aspects of £multi-million-pound projects are on schedule. The role will involve some UK travel which will typically be 1-2 days per week.
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate for this position will have at least 3 years' experience in the role of a Mechanical Contracts Manager, with a proven track record of managing large-scale mechanical projects and a solid understanding of contractual responsibilities. The candidate should either be a qualified Plumber or hold an HNC or a higher qualification in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services. It is expected the successful candidate will haveprehensive knowledge of all project stages, from pre-construction and installation tomissioning and final handover to the client.
