We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Social Worker to join our Safeguarding Team. As a vital member of our team, you will work directly with clients to assess their needs, develop intervention plans, and provide ongoing support to families facing challenges. Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ needs and risks.
Develop and implement tailored safeguarding plans in collaboration with clients and their families.
Maintain accurate and detailed case notes and documentation.
Provide direct support and counseling to families and individuals in crisis.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including health and education professionals, to coordinate care and support services.
Attend court hearings and provide testimony when necessary to advocate for client welfare.
Participate in training and development programs to stay updated on best practices in safeguarding and social work.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a related field; MSW preferred.
Valid social work license or the eligibility to obtain one.
Minimum of two years of experience in social work, preferably in safeguarding or child protection.
Strong understanding of legal frameworks and procedures related to safeguarding.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Hours Per Week : 36.00
Start Time: 09:00
End Time: 17:00
Pay Annum: £39,951.00
Location: Kingston Upon Thames, South West London
