Role: Divisional Finance Manager

Salary: Band 8a £50,952 to £57,349
Hybrid 1 to 2 days a week in the office

Sellick Partnership are currently recruiting for a Divisional Finance Manager for our Public Sector client.
A wide range of financial management and business advice will be required of the Divisional Finance Manager (DFM) in order to enable and support the Division in achieving its operational and strategic goals and initiatives in accordance with contractual obligations, objectives, and strategy.
With the support of the Senior Divisional Finance Manager (SDFM), the DFM will hold a key position in the organisation and function as an integral part of the Divisional Management Team, offering guidance to the Director and Divisional General Manager concerning the division's financial management and acting as an extension of the finance team.
Key responsibilities for the Divisional Finance Manager are;
* Accountable for supporting the development and execution of national policies financial implications
* Participate in the continuous evaluation and improvement of work procedures and systems
* Create and implement financial reporting procedures that fulfil divisional needs
* Take the lead in creating the budget and act as the Division's budget monitor
* Participate in and respond to Internal and External Audit reviews
* Supporting all aspects of financial planning and management of the divisions.
The Ideal candidate for the Divisional Finance Manager will have;
* Fully or Part Qualified Finance Professional
* Expert Knowledge of Financial and Accounting Procedures
* Stakeholder Management
* Extensive Experience in a Senior Management Level.
