To build relationships with new and existing Flavours Holidays guests, and to provide guidance and assistance with their holiday bookings from inquiry through to feedback.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct outgoing sales calls in line with company targets and current business focus
* Respond to guest emails
* Answer incoming calls
* Make bookings for holidays
* Process payments
* Regularly and accurately update the CRM system with guest notes
* Review new brochure requests and make first contact with guests
* Review and respond to positive guest feedback
* Assist with selling events for Amici members
* Attend events for Amici members when requested
* Review and escalate negative guest feedback to the Head of Customer Experience
* Attend weekly sales meetings
* Attend regular sales training sessions
Essential Knowledge, Skills and Experience
* A good broad education up to A-level.
* Ideally a graduate with either a business or travel and tourism qualification
* Min 2-3 years travel industry experience, ideally within a Product team
* Experience of working with digital systems/apps an advantage
* Commercially driven with excellent negotiation skills
* Fun, friendly, and caring with lots of positive energy
* Well-travelled and a love of the outdoors essential
* A people person – with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Ability to write good inspirational copy
* Creative and innovative
* Must be numerate, have great attention to detail, and strong organisational skills
* Ability to work under pressure
* Good problem-solving skills
* Flexible and willing to muck-in
* Able to travel both in the UK and overseas for work
Desirable Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
* Previous experience in a travel or tourism environment
* Previous experience working with guests within our age demographic (50+)
* Previous experience of dealing with a CRM
