Lloyds Banking Group is seeking an Energy and Water Manager to join our People and Places team. This role is vital in overseeing energy and water management, driving sustainability efforts, and achieving our carbon reduction goals. We work across a variety of property types, property ages and construction styles, making the work we do varied and interesting. Job Description Key Responsibilities: Ensure that all property related avenues are explored to enable the group to achieve its carbon, energy and water pledges. Collaborative management and analysis of output from our 360 sustainability framework. Undertake post occupancy and performance gap analysis upon completion of our major refurbishment projects. Design and develop bespoke work packages to reduce energy and water consumption across a wide range of properties Enhanced management of Building Management systems within the branch and office portfolio to capture property insights and drive down energy consumption Provide increased focus on the development and management of self generation across the LBG estate. Ensuring systems are working appropriately, metered accurately and reported. Development of annual utilities budget and forecast with continual management throughout the year Working with Facilities management, Maintenance teams and Capital programme teams to ensure works required for energy reductions can be captured within the correct programme of work. Build valuable relationships with teams across the Places function to ensure sustainability requirements are captured and embedded at the correct time Provide expert analysis of data sets through an enhanced understanding of the portfolio and the relative energy and water consumption profiles. Ability to discover and react quickly to consumption changes within the estate through investigation of data changes and information received through a variety of sources. Stay up to date on current sustainability legislation, trends and standards. Collaborate with other sustainability team members across LBG to develop and deliver updates, engaging content and strategic communications. Key skills and experience: 5 years experience in a similar role A sustainability, building or engineering related qualification is an advantage A deep understanding of the sustainability sector in the UK. Knowledge of sustainability within the banking sector is an advantage An ability to develop insights from large and complex data sets from different sources and in different formats Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively. Proven ability to work effectively with multi-functional teams and foster strong relationships.
