Job Role/Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a personal driver to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience of driving for Company Management or worked in logistics and have a proven record of safe driving and have flexible availability for at least 2/3 driving jobs per week to include possible evening and weekends.
The candidate will have pride in their role and learn to meet the needs of their passengers with confidentiality and professionalism.
This role would suit someone looking for flexible work, who enjoys driving and doesn’t mind long and unsociable hours or negotiating city traffic.
Responsibilities
* Safely and timely drive the Company Management to their required destinations.
* Ensure that the car is presentable and clean internally and externally.
* Complete inspections and identify electrical and mechanical problems and report them to the Operations Team Lead.
* Ensure the vehicle has sufficient fuel for the planned journeys, and all consumable liquids are topped up.
* Plan destination routes efficiently avoiding traffic issues and ensuring a timely arrival at the destination.
* Assist the Company Management with luggage or possessions when required.
* Comply with all road regulations continuously, ensuring a safe journey.
* Adhere to confidentiality of conversations which are direct or indirect.
The above list of responsibilities is not exclusive or exhaustive and the post holder will be required to undertake such tasks as may reasonably be expected within the scope of the post.
Minimum Requirements
* Have a professional behaviour and attitude.
* Confidentiality is essential.
* Dress appropriately and professionally.
* Punctuality and reliability are essential.
* Safety conscious, fully aware of the highway code and road regulations.
* Possess a clean and valid driving license.
* Prior experience as a personal driver is desirable.
* Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
* Ability to work during evenings and on weekends, as required.
* Some mechanical knowledge is desirable.
