The Institute of Education at the University of Winchester provides outstanding Initial Teacher Education and CPD. We are looking for enthusiastic, research-informed experts on current contexts in teaching and teacher education to join our team of academics who are committed to enabling our students to transform children’s lives through their practice.
We are seeking someone whose enthusiasm and insights will help develop our new ITE provision, develop ambitious programmes that reflect our values, and provide carefully sequenced, imaginative approaches to ITE. The person appointed will be a highly skilled primary practitioner with strengths in a range of curriculum areas.
We are currently seeking to appoint a lecturer with expertise in music and another national curriculum subject. Additionally, they will have recent experience in curriculum design, school leadership, and campus- and school-based initial teacher education. Applications for part-time roles will be considered.
You will be mentored and supported in your new role, ensuring a smooth transition and ongoing professional development. You will join a well-established team with whom you will work closely.
