This company is seeking a talented Manufacturing Engineer to join their dynamic team and play a crucial role in the assembly and integration of their cutting-edge products.
The Manufacturing Engineer Role
As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and cost-effective production of the company’s products. Your key duties will include:
* Compiling and updating manufacturing instructions
* Designing, commissioning, and proving associated tooling
* Supporting the industrial validation process through the use of FMEA’s and FAI’s
* Resolving technical problems that arise during the manufacturing process
* Managing configuration control by embodying design modifications into manufacturing instructions
* Supporting the non-conformance process using SAP
The Ideal Candidate
To be successful in this Manufacturing Engineer role, you will need:
* A formal technical engineering or craft apprenticeship to NVQ Level 3/TR23/TR21
* A further education certificate to HNC or equivalent
* At least 5 years of experience within an engineering discipline
* The ability to interpret design drawings and produce manufacturing build instructions
* Experience in electronic sub-assembly manufacture through to system-level builds
* Knowledge of the assembly process for small/miniature electro-mechanical actuation systems
* Strong teamwork and communication skills
* The ability to understand and respond to customer requirements
* Proficiency in working with company processes and procedures
