Responsibilities:
1. Preparing and monitoring food production, cooking, and presenting high-quality dishes for café and event catering.
2. Keeping up with industry trends and creating new recipes with the Sous Chef & Commis Chef.
3. Creating and reviewing the menu, ensuring that inventory of stock is completed.
4. Ensuring compliance with applicable health and safety standards within the kitchen.
5. Following the budget set by the General Manager, ensuring that the menu is costed correctly and minimizing waste.
6. Ordering food for the kitchen.
7. Training and developing staff as instructed by the General Manager.
8. Maintaining a clean and safe kitchen to FSBB standards.
