Here at Norfolk First Response we work with a reablement ethos, working alongside people in their homes to make a positive difference. We aim to help them regain their previous abilities within 6 weeks following a period of ill health or change in circumstances and our Support Workers (Reablement) are a key part of that. We have vacancies in our Double Assist Team and working individually (as part of a team of 12) across North and South Norfolk, giving people the support they need ranging from helping with daily activities such as washing, dressing, meal and drink preparation to ensuring their medication has been taken. Our North Team covers North Walsham, Mundesley and Cromer and our single rotas cover those areas too as well as Stalham, Ludham, Horning, Acle and Blofield. Our South Double Assist Team covers Wymondham, Dereham, Poringland and the surrounding villages. Our Norwich Team covers Norwich City, Bowthorpe, Hellesdon, Mile Cross, Thorpe, Eaton and Lakenham. Our current vacancies include: Support Worker (Reablement) in South Double Assist Team 30 hours per week (averaged over two weeks) Support Worker (Reablement) in Norwich Team 27.75 hours per week (averaged over two weeks) Support Worker (Reablement) in North Team 25 hours per week (averaged over two weeks) You will work a range of mornings (either 7.30am to 2pm or 8am to 2.30pm) and evenings (either 4.30 to 9pm or 5 to 10pm) with the hours averaged out over a two-week rota, enabling you to plan in advance to maintain a healthy work-life balance. You need to be caring, empathetic and committed to making a difference to people’s lives with the ability to easily commute to people’s homes in North Norfolk so will need a full driving licence and access to a vehicle. However, you do not need previous experience as full training will be given.
