Project Manager The Project Manager oversees the planning, implementation, and closing of specific projects which have a defined beginning and end with specified deliverables. The Project Manager provides ownership of timeline, budget and customer satisfaction supported by the Project Engineer owning the technical solution. The PM ensures the project is completed on time and within budget, the project's objectives are met with the desired outcome achieved, and that the project team are fulfilling their roles. The Project Manager should have a detailed understanding of project management principles and methodologies, allowing them to oversee projects to ensure the desired result is achieved, the most efficient resources are used and the different interests involved are satisfied. The knowledge required includes, but is not limited to, strong decision-making abilities, highly developed organizational skills, with effective communication skills at all levels within and externally to the company to explain project management processes.
