Working alongside fellow payroll and pension professionals your job is to manage an agreed number of weekly and monthly paid employees ensuring their pension records are maintained accurately and on time. Attention to detail is essential as is providing excellent customer service, first time every time. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, the ability to build effective working relationships at all levels are a must. The successful post holder must have experience of working in a busy Pension or Payroll Office together with the ability to investigate, analyse and process information and resolve technical enquiries. You are able to prioritise your workload to ensure deadlines are met. Ideally you will hold the Foundation Degree in Pensions or an equivalent qualification. You will also have previous experience of working in a pensions department. Whilst not essential it would be ideal if you have knowledge of NHS payroll and pensions procedures and practices, NEST Pension administration and a working knowledge of ESR.
