Power BI/Data & Reporting Developer Location: Leeds (Hybrid, Flexible working arrangements) Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum Permanent - Full Time Summary NG Bailey are currently seeking a Power BI/Data & Reporting Developer to join our head office in Leeds. Th is is an exciting opportunity for a Power BI enthusiast to drive the development and adoption of business reporting/dashboarding for multiple divisions and stake holders across the NG Bailey Group. The role will suit an individual that is comfortable working independently and is able t o levera ge their knowledge and experience to present a range of potential solutions. Extensive stakeholder engagement i s requir ed at all levels to drive effective data visualisations that can provide insightful actions. This is a permanent position based at our brand-new Leeds office (LS11 0DL) and offers flexible, hybrid working. Some of the key deliverables will include : Design, development, and ongoing maintenance of Power BI reporting solutions. Reporting will span all areas of NG Bailey Group ranging from operations through to finance. Work with business stakeholders to gather requirements, define key metrics, and design reporting solutions and then turn business ideas into tangible tasks and requirements. Work with relevant departments and teams and support/manage the delivery life cycle from design through to delivery. Utilise best practice user interface design and data presentation to tailor Power Bi solutions for specific audiences. Manage the completeness and accuracy of large volume datasets into meaningful MI that can inform critical decision making. Following best practice change control practices provide continuous improvement and support to the business ensuring the solutions stay fit for purpose. Champion Power Bi and help form a centre-of-excellence providing expert consultancy to others. What we’re looking for : Proven track record in the development and delivery of business reporting solutions using Power BI. Familiar and competent in the use of Power BI and DAX and can demonstrate best practice. Proven and demonstratable Power BI UX design experience – examples. Experience with structuring and helping users consume and use Power BI dashboards via Workspace, Teams or embedded etc. Management of multiple stakeholders and deliverables within defined timeframes. Experience in data manipulation including the management and accuracy of large datasets including cleansing, and translations. Knowledge of data modelling techniques used in classic and/or modern data warehouse solutions. Expertise in turning business ideas into tangible requirements for yourself and other teams to collaborate on. Ideal applicants will also: Experience in administrating the Power BI Service. Experience in low code environments such as Power Apps. SQL Knowledge. SQL Reporting Services Experience.
