Position: Pastoral Lead

Hours: 40 hours per week, term time

Salary Details: £24,509.00 per annum
The Headteacher is seeking to appoint a Pastoral Lead to join this thriving specialist SEMH/SEN School as part of a temporary contract to cover maternity leave.
As a Pastoral Lead you will support pupils to overcome personal barriers to learning through the delivery of a planned provision that supports the safety, well-being and academic needs of pupils, particularly with regard to both the social, emotional and mental health and EHCP targets of pupils.

The ideal candidate will have:
Experience of working with young people aged 11-19
Proven track record of successfully working with disaffected young people
Working with pupils with social, emotional and mental health difficulties or diagnosis with awareness of therapeutic/clinical approaches
Experience of working in a secondary school setting
