Job Description
The Service Engineer (AC) will provide Air Conditioning bias and building services engineering maintenance to a variety of client properties throughout the designated region.
This will include Air Conditioning bias fault finding, repairs, maintenance, and installation - The emphasis is on providing a world class building services maintenance service.
ISS Van provided along with a phone and PDA.
Personal use of Van is available at a cost of approx. £94 a month (paid as a tax) - 1000 miles a month private use.
Key Responsibilities
1. Responsibility for AC and HVAC bias PPM, proactive and reactive works issued through the helpdesk within set time frames so that the customer expectations are exceeded
2. Responsibility for other types of building services maintenance to include fabric, HVAC, mechanical and related tasks
3. Provide callout response for the client as detailed on the callout rota
4. Undertake new installations, major and minor repair works to clients' AC systems
5. Diagnose and repair faults on systems and plant including basic electrical fault finding
6. Undertake contractor control duties on behalf of the client, including monitoring of contractors and their workmanship, so that relevant standards are met. Issue of Permits to Work
7. Ensure that all AC equipment within scope operates to specified performance criteria
8. Ensure equipment and surrounding area conforms to agreed company standards
9. Provide a professional service and represent the company in a way which ensures customer satisfaction
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
1. City & Guilds F-Gas
2. City & Guilds Safe Handling of Refrigerants
3. NVQ L2 / Level 3 Commercial Refrigeration
4. Must have experience working with different AC units
5. PPM experience
